The permitted commercial uses in the LB Local Business District are as follows:
(A) Automobile service:
(1) Gasoline sales facilities;
(2) Commercial garage;
(3) Commercial parking lot;
(4) Sales room;
(5) Open automobile or trailer sales area; and
(6) Automobile repair, entirely within enclosed buildings.
(B) Business service:
(1) Bank;
(2) Office;
(3) Postal station; and
(4) Telephone office.
(C) Clothing service:
(1) Laundry/dry cleaners;
(2) Self-service laundry;
(3) Dressmaking and tailoring; and
(4) Shoe repair.
(D) Equipment service:
(1) Electronic sales and service;
(2) Appliance shop; and
(3) Record shop.
(E) Food service:
(1) Grocery/super market;
(2) Restaurant;
(3) Delicatessen;
(4) Storage facility, for individual use;
(5) Bakery; and
(6) Roadside sales stand.
(F) Personal service:
(1) Barber/beautician;
(2) Photographic studio; and
(3) Medical services.
(G) Retail service, retail stores generally:
(1) Drugstore;
(2) Hardware;
(3) Stationary;
(4) Bookstores;
(5) Showroom for retail sales;
(6) Commercial greenhouse, not exceeding 1,000 square feet in area;
(7) Clothing shop;
(8) Flower shop; and
(9) Antiques sales.
(H) Commercial recreational uses (conducted only within buildings so constructed that no noise of any kind produced therein shall be audible beyond the confines of the building):
(1) Theater;
(2) Bowling alley;
(3) Billiard room;
(4) Dancing academy; and
(5) Bar or nightclub only in conformity with requirements of laws or ordinances governing such use.
(I) Lumber yards and related sales facilities;
(J) Hotel and bed and breakfast operations;
(K) Private club or lodge; and
(L) Any other similar uses deemed appropriate in the zoning district as determined by the Plan Commission.
