Before being granted a contractor’s registration permit, each applicant shall furnish the following information:
(A) Public liability and property damage insurance in an amount not less than $1,000,000 in case of damage or injury to one or more persons; and
(B) Certificate of insurance made out to the town. All insurance and bonds shall be issued by an insurance company authorized to do business in the state. Failure to provide such certificate of insurance shall be grounds for denying the application for a contractor’s registration permit.
