§ 93.25 BARRIERS, BRACES, AND WARNING DEVICES REQUIRED.
   (A)   Red lights, safety lanterns, or flares shall be kept about the perimeter of the project and lit from sunset to sunrise at all unfinished work locations, and sufficient barricades to prevent accidents shall be placed around the excavation sites at all times.
   (B)   Trenches or excavations made in sloughing or water-bearing soils or that are at least five feet deep and in the immediate vicinity of a structural foundation shall be sheathed and braced.
