A bicycle operated on a highway from one-half hour after sunset until one-half hour before sunrise is by definition being operated at night and is subject to the following:
(A) Bicycles operated at night shall display a white light on the front thereof. Said light shall be securely fastened to the bicycle and plainly visible from a distance of 500 feet ahead under normal atmospheric conditions; and
(B) Bicycles operated at night shall display a red light on the rear thereof that is plainly visible from a distance of 500 feet to the rear under normal atmospheric conditions.
