If pursuant to the provisions of Section 539.02 the City removes the ice and snow from sidewalks upon the failure of the owner to do so within the time limit specified, the Director of Public Service shall promptly send a bill to such owner. If such bill is not paid within thirty days, the Director shall report such fact to the Mayor, who shall in turn report the fact of nonpayment to Council. Council may, thereupon adopt a resolution to certify such amount to the County Auditor to be collected in full on the next bill in the manner of collection of real estate taxes. (Ord. 11-1963.
