533.14 PUBLIC NOTIFICATION OF FACTS CONCERNING REGISTERED SEX OFFENDERS.
   (a)   Within a reasonable time of the North College Hill Police Department’s receipt of a required notice from the Hamilton County Sheriff pursuant to Ohio R.C. 2950.11 of any sexual predator residing within the City, the City shall deliver a copy of such notice to the occupant of each residential dwelling unit within the City. Such delivery may be accomplished by hand carrying and/or by first class mailing a copy to, or conspicuously posting a copy at each such dwelling unit.
   (b)   The notice, as required to be delivered pursuant to subsection (a) above, shall only be delivered to those residential dwelling units located within the boundaries of the City of North College Hill. The City may provide a sufficient number of copies of the notice required to be delivered pursuant to subsection (a) hereof to the North College Hill City School District and any private or parochial school within the City so that the district or any private or parochial school, if it so chooses, may cause such copies to be delivered to the residential dwelling units of those students not located within the boundaries of the City.
   (c)   In the event that members of the public shall inquire of the North College Hill Police Department regarding specifics of the offenses relating to any sexual predator covered by this section, only such information as shall be deemed public information under the laws of the State of Ohio and the ordinances of the City shall be released to the public. Names of victims shall remain confidential if otherwise remaining confidential under normal police and criminal record keeping procedures.
   (d)   Nothing herein shall be construed to create liability on the part of the City of North College Hill or its employees and agents in any civil action to recover damages for injury, death or loss to persons or property allegedly caused by any act or omission relating to this section.
