(a) The City has entered into collective bargaining agreements with the following employees for the year 1984: Police Association, Police Chief, Police Clerk, Service Department employees, Tax Administrator and Tax Department employees.
(b) Under these agreements, the City has agreed to pick-up the employee contribution to the State pensions plan in lieu of contributions by the employee and to designate such picked up contributions as employee contributions.
(c) Neither State law which controls the dispersal of benefits under the plans, nor City ordinance, nor the agreements allow employee the option of receiving the contributions directly instead of having them paid to the plan.
(d) A copy of this resolution shall be forwarded to the I.R. S. by the Director of Law. (Res. 26-1984. Passed 11-5-84.)
