(a) There is hereby established the North College Hill Auxiliary Police Unit. The rate of pay for persons appointed to this unit shall be one dollar ($1.00) per year. Members of the unit shall not be eligible by virtue of membership in the unit for participation in the Police and Firemen's Disability and Pension Fund.
(b) Appointments to the Unit shall be made by the Director of Public Safety/ Service. The duties of members of the Unit and required training shall be as prescribed by the Chief of Police. The Director shall notify Council of all appointments made to this unit.
