(a) Commercial Rental Property Registration Required.
(1) A Rental Registration shall be required for each residential rental building containing one (1), two (2) or three (3) family dwelling units. A residential dwelling unit containing one (1), two (2) or three (3) family dwelling units occupied by the owner of the building shall not be required to register under this chapter.
(2) If acting through a local agent, the owner of a residential rental building shall provide to the City of North College Hill Code Enforcement Officer the name, address, phone number, email, if available, the website address, and any other pertinent contact information of a designated local agent, acting for the owner, who has provided current and local street mailing address to the office of the Property Maintenance/Code Enforcement.
(3) If not acting through a local agent, the name, address, phone number, email, if available, the website address, and any other pertinent contact information of the owner shall be provided to the City of North College Hill Code Enforcement Officer.
The owner or local agent must provide the name, address, phone number, email, if available, the website address, and any other pertinent contact information of an operator or lessor of the premises if such is other than the owner or local agent.
The contact information required by this section shall be used for the receipt of legal notices from the City. A post office box or similar location may not be used.
The City shall provide the registration form upon request of the owner or agent. The owner or agent must submit the registration form within thirty (30) days of acquiring ownership or rights of lessor, or, within thirty (30) days of receipt of the certified letter notifying him/her of the registration requirement, or in accordance to the County Auditor’s site.
(b) Residential Rental Property.
