(a) All applicants for a building permit for commercial work as required and defined in the Ohio Basic Building Code, and with the defined exceptions in that Code, and including nonstructural roofing applications and limited area sprinkler systems, where plan review is required, shall be accompanied by a nonrefundable processing fee of one hundred dollars ($100.00). Where plan review is not required the application shall be accompanied by a nonrefundable fee of sixty dollars ($60.00).
(b) All applicants for a building permit for residential work are required to file a processing fee of sixty dollars ($60.00) with each application. The residential processing fee is not refundable for applications which require a plan review. The residential processing fee is not an additional fee, and is to be deducted from the final permit fee.
