Accessory signs in District I shall be designed, erected, altered, moved and maintained in whole or in part, in accordance with these regulations. Only one of each sign type shall be permitted per parcel with the exception of directional and political signs. The types of signs permitted as to use, structure, size shall be regulated as follows:
(a) Bulletin Boards. One bulletin board not exceeding thirty-two (32) square feet in area and five (5) feet in height may be located on the premises of a public, charitable or religious institution but not less than fifteen (15) feet from a street right-of-way line. Indirect illumination shall be permitted as allowed by Section 1175.08
herein.
(b) Development Signs. One development sign not exceeding thirty-two square feet in area and ten (10) feet in height shall be permitted on the lot in which a building is under construction. Signs shall be removed on the issuance of a final occupancy permit or one year after the building permit is issued, whichever date occurs sooner.
(c) Directional Signs. Maximum of two directional signs, each not exceeding two (2) square feet in area shall be permitted on any multiple family building or lot, but not less than five (5) feet from any lot or street right-of-way.
(d) Identification Signs. One wall or ground identification sign not exceeding eight (8) square feet shall be permitted, provided the wall sign is located on the street side of a multiple family building.
