1125.07 REMOVAL OF CERTAIN SIGNS.
   Any sign which no longer advertises a bona fide business conducted, or a product sold at that location shall be taken down or removed or the reference to the defunct business obliterated by the owner, agent or person having the beneficial use of the building, structure or lot upon which the sign is located within thirty days after written notification from the Building Commissioner. The Building Commissioner shall allow the most economically feasible method of compliance with this section, but shall also see that the removal does not result in a violation of this or any other ordinance of the City. Upon failure to comply with the notice within the time specified in such order, the Building Commissioner is authorized to cause removal of such sign and any expense thereto shall be paid by the owner, agent or person having the beneficial use of the building, structure or lot where the sign is located.
