This Zoning Ordinance is enacted for the purpose of promoting public health, safety, convenience, comfort, prosperity and general welfare by regulating and restricting the location, bulk and height of buildings and structures and of premises to be used for trade, industry, residence or other specified uses, all in accordance with a comprehensive plan for the desirable future development of the community; and to provide a method of administration and to prescribe penalties for the violations of provisions hereafter described.
