3-1-8: LICENSE CLASSIFICATIONS AND NUMBER OF LICENSES:
Not more than two (2) licenses shall be issued within the village pursuant to this chapter. There shall be two (2) classes of liquor licenses:
Class "A" license: A Class "A" liquor license shall authorize the retail sale of alcoholic liquors for consumption only on the premises specified. There shall not be issued at any one time any more than two (2) class "A" liquor licenses in the Village.
Class "AC" license: A Class "AC" liquor license may be applied for by an existing liquor license holder, which shall authorize the retail sale of alcoholic liquors for consumption on the premises specified and allow limited catered retail sales of alcoholic liquor for private events, which take place off-site from the specified licensed premises. A private event shall be defined as an event not open or available to the general public, except by reservation or special invitation where alcoholic beverages are served in connection with and incidental to the catering of food. This license shall not extend to off-site premises located outside of the jurisdictional territory of the Village. (1977 Code § 5-1-13, amd. Ord. 2020-13, 11-18-2020)
