5-5-1: AUTHORITY:

This chapter is enacted pursuant to the police powers granted to Lake County by 55 Illinois Compiled Statutes 5/5-1062 (County), by 65 Illinois Compiled Statutes 5/1-2-1, 5/11-12-12, 5/11-30-8, 5/11-30-2 and 5/11-31-2 and 615 Illinois Compiled Statutes 5/5 et seq., and 5/18g. The administration and enforcement shall be performed by the Village. (Ord. 855, 11-20-2000; amd. 2004 Code)
