5-4-7: MAINTENANCE OF PONDS AND ARTIFICIAL LAKES:
The owner of each pond or artificial lake hereafter constructed in the Village shall be responsible for maintaining the pond or artificial lake in such condition that the specifications contained herein for design and safety required of a newly constructed pond or artificial lake shall be substantially complied with at all times after initial construction. (1977 Code § 4-6-9)
