5-4-3: PERMIT REQUIREMENTS:
   A.   Permit Required; Expiration: Before commencing the installation of any pond or artificial lake, a permit authorizing such work shall be obtained from the Village Engineer. Such permit, if issued, shall expire nine (9) months from the date of issue, unless the work covered thereby has been completed or the permit is renewed by the Village Engineer.
   B.   Application For Permit:
      1.   Fee: There shall be a filing fee as established by section 1-8-5 of this code.
      2.   Plans, Specifications And Calculations:
         a.   There shall be two (2) copies of the plans, specifications and calculations in sufficient detail showing the following:
            (1)   Plot plan showing existing and proposed contours and water elevation, all drawn to scale.
            (2)   Pond or artificial lake dimensions, depths and volume in gallons.
            (3)   A minimum of three (3) borings to the depth of ten feet (10') indicating types of soil and water table.
            (4)   Changes in natural and existing storm drainage.
            (5)   Location of all wells, septic tanks and septic fields, roads and waterways on the property and within one hundred fifty feet (150') of the proposed pond or artificial lake.
            (6)   Delineation of regulatory floodplain boundaries.
            (7)   Details of overflow provisions into natural storm drainage system.
         b.   Specifications, calculations and details shall be prepared and signed by an Illinois licensed professional engineer.
   C.   Certificate Of Construction: Record drawings and a certificate that construction has been completed according to the proposed design, and plans shall be signed by a licensed professional engineer.
