The property owner or the person in possession of the property may file with the Village Clerk within five (5) days after notice has been sent by the Village Forester, a request for hearing to be held within twenty (20) days by the corporate authorities or a committee designated by the corporate authorities. After such hearing, whether before the corporate authorities or the committee designated by them, a final decision shall be rendered by the corporate authorities. Notice to the neighboring property owners within two hundred fifty feet (250') of the property of the hearing is at the discretion of the corporate authorities. (Ord. 917, 3-31-2003)
