171.01 MAGISTRATE.
   (a)   The Mayor is authorized to appoint a qualified Magistrate to conduct Mayor’s Court, who shall meet Mayor’s Court Educational Procedural Rules, established by the Ohio Supreme Court, or otherwise be exempt from meeting said educational requirements as a result of having qualifying experience which is recognized by the Supreme Court of the State of Ohio as acceptable in lieu of meeting the foregoing educational requirements.
   (b)   The Mayor’s Court Magistrate appointed by the Mayor pursuant to Ohio R.C. 1905.05 et seq. shall be compensated in an amount not to exceed one hundred dollars ($100.00) per session of Mayor’s Court attended and held by said Magistrate with Mayor’s Court sessions not to exceed two per month.
   (c)   Said compensation shall be paid to the Magistrate on a contractual basis and, furthermore, said Magistrate shall not be entitled to any further compensation or benefits from the Village of North Baltimore other than the one hundred dollar ($100.00) per session of Mayor’s Court attended and held by said Magistrate.
