The objectives of these regulations are:
(a) To prevent the introduction of pollutants into wastewater system which will interfere with the normal operation of the system or contaminate the resulting municipal sludge;
(b) To prevent the introduction of pollutants into the wastewater which do not receive adequate treatment in the POTW, and which will pass through the system into the receiving streams or the atmosphere or otherwise be incompatible with the system.
(c) To set forth the policy, rules and regulations controlling the extension of Village services to properties outside the Village corporation limits.
(d) To eliminate the introduction of storm and ground water into the Village wastewater system in order to reduce the volume and cost of treating sewage at the Village wastewater treatment plant.
