§ 97.10 DEMOLITION PERMIT REQUIRED.
   No property owner or other person shall cause or permit open burning of any building or other structure for the purpose of demolition or elimination of a hazard unless he or she shall have applied for and obtained a valid demolition permit from the building official of the governing body in accordance with the Uniform Statewide Building Code and the Statewide Fire Prevention Code. The official issuing such permit may establish such conditions as may be reasonably necessary to protect the safety and welfare of the general public.
