The active personnel of Cape Charles Rescue Service, Inc., Cape Charles Volunteer Fire Company, Inc., Cheriton Volunteer Fire Company, Inc., Community Fire Company, Inc., Eastville Volunteer Fire Company, Inc., Northampton Fire & Rescue Service, Inc., Northampton County Department of Emergency Medical services and any law enforcement officer of the county, thereof, are hereby recognized as an integral part of the official safety program of the county.
