(A) Abrogation and greater restrictions. This chapter supplements any regulations currently in effect in flood-prone districts. However, any underlying regulations shall remain in full force and effect to the extent that such regulations are more restrictive than this chapter.
(B) Severability. If any section, subsection, paragraph, sentence, clause, or phrase of this chapter shall be declared invalid for any reason whatever, such decision shall not affect the remaining portions of this chapter. The remaining portions shall remain in full force and effect; and for this purpose, the provisions of this chapter are hereby declared to be severable.
