§ 90.21 PUBLIC DOCK COMMITTEE; POWERS.
   (A)   There is established a Public Dock Committee of Oyster, Virginia, for the purpose of regulating and controlling the use of the aforesaid public docks at Oyster, Northampton County, Virginia. Such Committee is to be appointed by the Board of Supervisors, shall consist of five persons, residing in Northampton County, Virginia, and each of the persons shall serve on the Committee for terms of one year each or until their successors are duly appointed. In the event the Board of Supervisors fails to appoint a successor upon the expiration of any member’s existing term, the term of the member shall automatically be continued until his successor is duly appointed and qualified. Each member, so appointed, shall qualify by appearing before the Clerk of the Circuit Court of Northampton County, Virginia, and executing the oath required by constitutional officers of this county.
   (B)   It shall be the duty of the Harbor Committee, above named, to adopt such additional rules and regulations as it may deem advisable, not inconsistent herewith, and in conformity with the standards set out in this subchapter, for the further governing of the use of any of the public docks at Oyster, Virginia.
