The Noblesville Police Department, other animal shelters, and/or public animal facilities which destroy animals in the city, shall use only sodium pentobarbital or derivative substances designed for such purpose and generally acceptable within the veterinarian profession. Other acceptable substances may be available from time to time, subject to specific approval in writing by the Chief of Police.
