The work or use authorized by a building permit shall commence within six months of the date of issuance of such permit. Otherwise, the same shall lapse and become null and void. All work so authorized shall be completed within 24 months from the date of issuance of the permit unless good cause for extending the completion time is shown the Director of Planning. Upon issuance of the certificate of occupancy the applicant shall have or cause to be occupied within 30 days, the structure so certified.
