Prior to the issuance of the certificate of occupancy for a newly-constructed, renovated, or remodeled Class 1 structure, the City of Noblesville Fire Department is required to witness a successful acceptance or performance test in accordance with the appropriate installation standard or manufacturer’s specifications for the following systems:
(A) Fire alarm system.
(B) Sprinkler and standpipe system.
(C) Special hazard fire suppression system.
(D) Private fire service underground piping hydrostatic test and flush.
(E) Fire pump.
(F) Smoke control system.
(G) Above-ground piping hydrostatic test.
(H) Emergency lighting system.
(I) Underground storage tank tightness test.
(J) Grease duct leakage test (Type I Hood Exhaust System).
