§ 92.095 SMOKE DETECTORS.
   (A)   Smoke detectors and smoke alarms shall be installed as required by the Indiana Fire Code, Indiana Building Code, Indiana Mechanical Code, Indiana Fuel Gas Code, Indiana Residential Code, I.C. 22-11-18, and any other code of the jurisdiction.
   (B)   If required by the Indiana Building Code, Indiana Fire Code, this Fire Prevention Code or any other Fire Safety Code of the jurisdiction, single-station and multi-station smoke alarms shall be installed as follows:
      (1)   R-2 occupancies shall be equipped with a minimum of one ionization smoke alarm and one photoelectric smoke alarm. Alternatively, one ionization/photoelectric combination smoke alarm may be used instead.
      (2)   The location of these smoke alarms shall be approved by the Fire Chief or his or her designee.
