When a building is equipped with an elevator(s) and required by local, state, or national code to install an elevator key box, the owner, or his or her duly authorized agent, shall contact the City of Noblesville Fire Department for approval of the location of the elevator key box. After installation, the owner, or his or her duly authorized agent, shall contact the City of Noblesville Fire Department to secure the necessary keys in the box. The necessary keys shall include, but not be limited to, elevator door key, elevator equipment room key, and Fire Department emergency access elevator control keys.
