(A) Councilmanic Districts. The city is hereby divided into six councilmanic districts conforming to the requirements of IC 36-4-6-3 as follows.
(B) The Districts shall consist of the following precincts:
(1) Council District 1: Precincts 27, 17, 24, 25, 14, 7, 16, 36 and 35(NV), as defined by the precinct maps and boundaries located in the Office of the Clerk of Hamilton County.
(2) Council District 2: Precincts 33, 11, 30, 41, 42, 43(NV), 18 and 34, as defined by the precinct maps and boundaries located in the Office of the Clerk of Hamilton County.
(3) Council District 3: Precincts 10, 12, 6, 8, 22, 26, 31 and that portion of Precinct 9 that is west of State Road 37, as defined by the precinct maps and boundaries located in the Office of the Clerk of Hamilton County.
(4) Council District 4: Precincts 29, 13, 5, 23, 20, 28 and 37, as defined by the precinct maps and boundaries located in the Office of the Clerk of Hamilton County.
(5) Council District 5: Precincts 21, 38, 39, Wayne 5 and Delaware 2, as defined by the precinct maps and boundaries located in the Office of the Clerk of Hamilton County.
(6) Council District 6: Precincts 32, 40, that portion (if any) of Precinct 9 that is east of State Road 37, proposed Precinct 44 (if it is created), Wayne 4, Wayne 3, Wayne 6(NV), Wayne 7 and Fall Creek 13, as defined by the precinct maps and boundaries located in the Office of the Clerk of Hamilton County.
