§ 36.24 USE OF AVAILABLE COMPENSATORY TIME.
   Any available paid sick leave or vacation, or banked compensatory time, will be applied against the FMLA entitlement. The city shall require any employee obtaining the benefits of this policy to first use accrued banked compensatory time then sick leave and/or vacation time as part of the leave provided for herein. For example, if an employee has one week of sick time and two weeks of vacation time, that can be applied toward the 12 weeks leave, so then only nine weeks unpaid leave needs to be provided.
