§ 90.12 CITY DESIGNATED AS BIRD SANCTUARY.
   (A)   The entire area embraced within the corporate limits of the city is hereby designated as a bird sanctuary and provides protection to state and federally protected bird species.
   (B)   No person shall trap, hunt, shoot or attempt to shoot or molest state or federally protected bird species or their nests; provided that if such species are found to constitute a nuisance or menace to health or property, the city shall seek assistance from the appropriate state and/or federal wildlife agencies to resolve such nuisance bird situations in such a manner as is deemed advisable by such authorities under the supervision of the Chief of Police.
