§ 71.24 SPEED BUMPS AUTHORIZED.
   (A)   Upon authorization by the City Council, the Department of Public Works shall construct and install, on specified city roadways, automobile speed control devices commonly called speed bumps. The speed bumps shall be of a size and at intervals jointly determined by the Department of Public Works and the Police Department to be appropriate.
   (B)   Division (A) above shall not apply to state or county roads located within the city unless authorization is first received from the appropriate state or county agency.
