§ 31.053 SIGNATURES ON CITY CHECKS.
   All checks on city depositories shall be signed by the City Treasurer and countersigned by the Mayor; provided, that Council may, by resolution, provide alternate officers for such purposes to act when the City Treasurer or Mayor are absent or disabled.
