§ 31.001 APPOINTMENT AND TERM OF NON-ELECTIVE CITY OFFICERS.
   All city officers, other than the Mayor, Council members and City Recorder, shall unless otherwise provided by state law, this code or other ordinance, be appointed by the Mayor, with the approval of Council, to serve for an indefinite term of office.
