§ 36.066 JAIL RULES.
   The Chief of Police, in consultation with the City Jailer, shall prepare and may from time to time amend rules for the administration of the city jail and the government of the inmates of and visitors to the jail; provided, that such rules not be inconsistent with state law, the codified ordinances or other ordinance or resolution of Council. Such rules shall be submitted through the Mayor to Council, and when approved by resolution of Council and a true copy of such rules is placed at each entrance to the jail and at a conspicuous place readily accessible to the view of the inmates, no visitor or inmate of the jail shall violate or fail to comply with any such rule.
