(A) The Reserve Lieutenant shall be responsible for executing orders issued by the Director for the efficient operation of his or her unit and men under his or her supervision. The Lieutenant shall preside, or designate a Reserve Sergeant to preside, at all meetings of the reserve police unit. The Lieutenant shall be responsible for maintaining complete records of this unit, making frequent reports to the Director or Chief of Police as designated or requested.
(B) The Reserve Lieutenant shall endeavor to fill all requests for details, special or otherwise. He or she shall keep in close contact with members under his or her supervision, noting carefully any change in address, telephone numbers and availability of reserve members during the 24 hours of each day.
