§ 35.050 UNEMPLOYMENT COMPENSATION.
   For the purposes of any unemployment compensation law, a distribution in one sum or as installments for a period of not more than one year, to the extent attributable to employer contributions, is deemed a severance payment and shall be so allocated (for the purposes of the applicable unemployment compensation law) over a period of weeks equal to the amount of the distribution divided by the participant’s regular weekly pay before the separation-from-service with this period beginning on the first week that begins after the date of the separation-from-service.
