When any building or structure is being erected, constructed, altered, repaired or maintained in violation of the provisions of this Code the person responsible for such violation shall be fined not more than fifty dollars ($50.00) for each offense payable to the Municipality. Each day such violation is committed or continued shall constitute a separate offense.
