(a) The provisions for sick leave of all full-time employees of the Village shall conform and comply with the provisions of Ohio R.C. 124.38 and 124.39.

(b) Any employee with ten or more years of service in the employment of the Village of New Washington who elects to retire shall be entitled to receive in cash, at his or her rate of pay at the time of retirement, one-fourth (1/4) of the value of his or her accrued but unused sick leave credit up to a maximum of 240 hours of accrued but unused sick leave.
