The following requirements shall apply to the installation and erection of satellite devices within areas zoned and designated as single-family residential and multi-family residential:
(a) Ground-Mounted Satellite Devices. The following provisions, conditions and requirements shall apply to each ground mounted satellite earth station:
(1) Such station shall not contain a graphic message or advertising of any kind.
(2) Such station shall be considered an accessory structure and shall comply with the following conditions and requirements:
A. It shall be located to the rear of the main building on the property in question and be at a minimum elevation for unobstructed reception.
B. It shall not be located closer than five feet to a rear lot line, five feet from a side lot line, or one foot from any easement.
C. It shall be mounted in a concrete base in line with grade and only metal supports shall be utilized.
D. It shall be designed to withstand a wind force of up to seventy miles per hour without the use of supporting guy wires. (Ord. 4000. Passed 11-18-85.)
(b) Roof-Mounted Satellite Devices. Roof-mounted satellite devices measuring twenty-five inches or less shall be permitted to be installed, constructed, erected or maintained in any residential zone. Satellite devices measuring more than twenty-five inches shall not be permitted to be roof-mounted in residential zones.
