The department heads listed in this section shall in conjunction with the City Manager have the authority in their departments to supervise and discipline up to the point of dismissal, all employees under their jurisdiction and control.
The department heads are the Law Director (Director of Law), the Finance Director (Director of Finance), Police Chief (Chief of Police), Zoning Administrator (Zoning and Inspection Administrator), and the designated head of any other department that is lawfully established and funded by the City.
