1113.07 STREET COURSE.

(1) Type A pavements shall have a minimum base course of eight inches compacted aggregate base placed and compacted in two lifts. The aggregate shall meet all the requirements of ODOT Specifications No. 304.

(2) Type B pavements shall have a minimum base course of five inches bituminous aggregate base placed and compacted directly on the prepared subgrade. The bituminous aggregate base shall meet all the requirements of ODOT Specifications No. 301. (A.O.)

(b) Intermediate. Type A and B pavements shall have a minimum intermediate course of two and one-half inches asphalt concrete spread and compacted on the prepared base course. The asphalt shall meet all the requirements of ODOT Specifications No. 402.

(c) Surface. Type A and B pavements shall have a minimum surface course of one and one-half inch asphalt concrete spread and compacted on the intermediate course. The asphalt concrete shall meet all the requirements of ODOT Specifications No. 404.
