Construction plans shall be required for all public improvements. The plan shall be drawn at a scale of not less than one inch equals fifty feet or where all utilities are to be shown on one plan, the scale shall be one inch equals twenty feet. Plans shall be drawn on standard 24 inch by 36 inch size mylar drafting film. The following shall be included in the construction plans:
(a) Title sheet with appropriate approval signatures, i.e.: City Manager, Mayor, Superintendent of Water Distribution, Superintendent of Wastewater Collection and Treatment, Superintendent of Streets and the City Engineer.
(b) Comprehensive site drawing showing overall plan of improvement and including site grading and drainage.
(c) Typical pavement sections with accompanying details and notes.
(d) Plan-profile sheets shall show control stationing, bench marks, street paving, curbs and gutters, sidewalks, rights-of-way, property lines, sanitary sewers, water mains, storm drains (including rear lot drainage and lot grading), catch basins, manholes, fire hydrants, valves, traffic control features, street lighting, gas and underground electric power.
Profiles shall show existing and proposed centerline and right-of-way grades, invert elevations, slope, size and material of sanitary and storm sewers. A profile shall be drawn for all sanitary sewers and storm drains.
(e) Cross-section Sheets. Cross-sections shall be drawn at a scale of not less than one inch equals ten feet and not more than 100 feet intervals along the proposed street.
Sections shall be carried at least to the building lines on either side of the street.
(f) Detail Sheets. Details shall be provided of all appurtenant items such as manholes (sanitary and storm) catch basins, fire hydrant settings, etc.
