The approval of the preliminary plat shall be effective for a period of one year. The owner or owners agent must obtain final approval within the one year period noted above. Any plat not receiving final approval within this period of time shall be considered null and void, and the owner shall be required to resubmit a plat for preliminary approval subject to all new zoning restrictions and subdivision regulations.
