There is hereby adopted an Emergency Conservation Plan as follows:

30 days Goal 50% reduction | (1) Public appeals (mandatory 50% reduction of usage (in terms of energy charge) of prior year level | 1. Eliminate all non-essential outdoor lighting. |
2. If necessary: | ||
a. Close all places of entertainment | ||
b. Reduce hours of all industrial, commercial, and retail operations | ||
c. Close any customer with demand of 500 kw or more | ||
3. Further appeals to residential customers | ||
20 days | Discontinuation of all electric use except that to protect general health and safety | 1. Close schools |
2. Close all operations not essential | ||
