(a) Township residents living adjacent to an existing City electric line may make application for City electric service at the Utility Office.
(b) Township residents who are not adjacent to the City's electric system and desire City electric service, may make application for electric service at the City's Utility Office. The City shall provide a cost of such extension to the potential customer and if such customer agrees to pay an assessment for the line extension, then such application shall be submitted to Council for their approval, providing the City's system has capability to provide the service.
