Any structure used for public entertainment may be inspected by the Fire Chief and rated for maximum safe capacity under applicable State law. Findings of the Ohio State Fire Marshal, when issued, shall supersede determinations of the Fire Chief. A sign, supplied by the City, shall be posted at each entrance stating the maximum safe capacity of the structure. No person in charge of a structure used for public entertainment shall cause or allow the number of attendees to exceed the posted capacity. This section shall be enforced by police officers or other persons satisfactory to the Chief of Police, at the expense of the person or organization conducting the entertainment.
