(A) In addition to the required parking spaces, there shall be provided surfaced off-street loading berths as follows:
For every new building used for other than residential purposes, and containing more than 5,000 square feet of floor area | 1 berth 10 feet wide, 25 feet long and having a vertical clearance of not less than 12 feet |
For every new building, regardless of use, containing more than 20,000 square feet | 2 berths 10 feet wide, 25 feet long and having a vertical clearance of not less than 14 feet |
(B)
Where it is anticipated that the movement of goods or materials into or out of a building may frequently be made by semi-trailer, the Zoning Administrator may require loading berths to be 50 feet in length rather than 25 feet.
(C) All loading berths shall be located within or adjacent to and on the same lot as the building served.
