§ 156.139 UTILITIES.
   All utility lines and mains including but not limited to gas mains, electrical power, telephone, cable television and street lighting lines shall be installed underground. The location(s) shall be shown on the preliminary plat. The developer shall be responsible for complying with the standards and specifications of the city or respective utility company. The developer shall also be responsible for making the necessary arrangements including any construction or installation charges with each of the serving utilities. Utility lines shall be installed in such a manner so as not to interfere with other underground utilities. Transformers, switching boxes, terminal boxes, meter cabinets, pedestals and other facilities necessarily appurtenant to such underground utilities are not required to be underground. Such facilities shall be placed within easements or public rights-of-way provided for each particular facility. The requirement for electrical, telephone and cable television utility lines to be installed underground does not apply within the I- L Light Industrial or I- H Heavy Industrial Districts.
